//+ The mysterious being Celeste is truly an enigma. Her origins are uncertain and her true motives have been lost since her first descent, but she is very, very real. What is known is that Celeste is a pegasus, often seen with a horn, and is decidedly female. Whenever she descends from the stars she brings with her plagues that range from annoying to highly destructive to just...odd. Anything is possible with her. Anything.

//+ Though no one knows what the exact cause of a plague is, it is a widely accepted belief that plagues happen when herds move away from Celeste's supposed goal of unity. Any display of conquering or aggression (sometimes even when it's in self-defense!) seems to warrant some kind of plague fairly quickly. Celeste has been known to punish minor crimes harshly and sometimes appears to completely ignore other, worse actions; she is very erratic. Since her plagues seem geared to promote interaction with others, any attempts to interact with other herds (even if they end in catastrophe) seem to be smiled upon by the magical pegasus.
