The first thought that comes to mind… water. There’s lots of it; the border between Humanitas and Frenum is a large stream, and as well as that there are two separate branches of water from the stream up north, causing the two to grow larger and larger and eventually cause smaller rivers to form all across the land. The kind residents live in otherwise habitual forestland, filled with many different species of wildlife. In between the two rivers, however, is a fairly blank land with very few trees, but has several hills and unusual moggle-shaped bumps to fill up the space. Quite exciting, really!

Just off the border of Liberalitas lies the island of Patientia. The merciful horses of this land feed off of rich, sweet grass that covers the whole island, with multiple species of tropical trees growing anywhere and everywhere. Ferns dot empty spaces, and a border of pearly white sand lines the edge of the island, its width a good six or seven meters across from the water. At the heart of the island is a brilliant freshwater pool with fabled healing properties, rising from underneath the island. The island itself is very large; there are all types of tunnels, passages and land to explore. The horses who live here are peaceful beings, and they live together with the animals and plants and do not waste or ruin.

Dead smack in the center of all the virtues is the mixed-terrain terra of Industria, home to the diligent and confident residents. Although being amidst all the other virtues and consisting of all their predominant terrain types (save Patientia), half of Industria is mostly mountains. These mountains support small creatures as the base wildlife, with the occasional foliage – however, the majority of the mountains are winding rocky paths that lead to tunnels and passages that lead to who knows where around the mountains. The rest is mostly a combination of lush forest and grasses, a land of endless explorations to be done. Despite being somewhat connected to Humanitas and Humilitas, the mountains that rise in this area create a border around the other three.

One of the virtue lands at the side of the lake that harbors Psychomachia is Liberalitas, a beautiful land of mixed elements and vast shorelines for the generous horses that thrive here. Around half of this terra is pure sand, stretching on across the border between it and the lake. The other half begins from the sand as a wonderful assortment of spruce, oak, teak and palm trees that scatter themselves around the edge. Gradually the foliage thickens and the species of trees become unidentifiable, and the land raises on one side to the mountainous border alongside Industria, and thins out to vast plains with occasional trees, but mostly tall grass, which continues out to Castitas.

Frenum is a land of variety, beauty and – above all – moderation. There is a little bit of everything; water, food, and enjoyable scenery, though there isn’t so much of an overdose that one feels like they’re being spoiled. No, the horses that live here know this beautiful land well, and use its resources reasonably. From the river that separates this southern virtue from Humanitas is a large river, which leads to several separate ones that flow east into Frenum. A waterfall has settled close to the center of the terra, a beautiful splendor that opens up to a vast plain. Where the waterfall is located is the steepest part of the terra, and also marks a line where the forestry stops, and the plains begin – for the plains seem endless despite the border not so far away, filled with naught but a few trees, gophers, and a ton of grass.
