Not when the moon lit the sky with but a fragment of its shell, but when the whole was revealed and curtains of white light shone on the cool earth did that one soul roam. Despite so much undergrowth, the light of the moon continued to shine, its rays lighting up the path ahead for all to see and marvel. It was there that the diligent creatures saught to finish their goals, to accomplish what they wished. It was Industria he sought, and he could only get there from where he was now - Liberalitas - by climbing over the mountain that lay ahead of him.
It was late this spring evening as a form, no taller then fifty-eight inches, made his way through the light foliage lying at the bases of Industria, the small sounds of crackling branches and leaves rustling allowing waves to flow through the air. Rhion, himself - the diligent equus who desired to reach the summit of that mountain, that mountain there; in front of him, below him, around him. He was making his way up the start of the mountain, a blanket of trees enveloping 'is bod. Carnelian figure moved at a comfortable trot up and around, and when he eventually saw naught but rocks and the occasional tree, th'stud was content at his progress so far. About a third of his way him the mountain, he was! Despite sweating bod, Rhion kept going, brow furrowing as the terrain began to rise ever to slightly. At one point he faced a cliff - a rocky cliff, flat and as vertical as it could ever naturally get - with a hole in it. Wait, not a hole - a cave! This could work.
So the journey inside the damp, dark cave began. At first it was easy, with the moonlight as a significant, reliable lamp; however, said lamp was doused as th'equus traveled further into the cave. Rhion sighed as he felt his pace slow down to a walk, but it was energetic - he wished to get to that land before sunrise. For about an hour he walked through the darkness, picking his way around the more-or-less flat rocks on either side of a small, narrow stream. Oho, He murmurred, eyes lit with curiousity and interest as light began to stream in from ahead - Finally, I have crossed the border!
He spoke to himself too much. Murmurring things about what he was going to do, when, and how, Rhion eventually made his way out of the tunnel that went straight through the mountain to the virtue of Industria. Beautiful! The tunnel opened to an empty, broad ridge that stuck out from the side of the mountain, and it was here he finally stopped and peered out and around and investigated the beautiful valley. He sat on a mountain on the northern border, and along the whole west and east coast of Industria were rising mountains that never thinned out 'til the stream that cut off Industria from Humanitas. There was naught but the beautiful horizon in front of him, past the mountains - and below, the beautiful array of forest, hills and tall grasses that he had been told about. Finally! This land required a diligent leader, and here stood one... How fitting. This land, Rhion called out, lyrics booming in the quiet atmosphere - Is mine!
